Putting Away ... "Why Me Lord"

Putting the ‘what ifs’ to Flight…..
Have you become so beat down by the burdens you have been carrying? Have you lost the Center of your focus? Have you arrived to a place where you feel God cannot hear you and will not help you? Have you forgotten how to release that which you cannot change or alter in your own strength? Has your spiritual vision been clouded by what the physical sight is speaking?
I could go on and on. At this point in my walk or climb I have been feeling these exact feelings. For two weeks I spent each day in a fog of fear about the unknown. I bombarded Heaven with questions that rose from the flesh and not from the Spirit. I cried, prayed, fasted and then became silent. Shutting out the One Person that knows the beginning, the middle and the end of what we are walking through.
I had become so overwhelmed with the “what ifs,” I had forgotten the “why not’s.” I had forgotten to ask the Lord exactly what will be the learning experience from this? What Spiritual wisdom will I gain from this? Who will benefit besides me? Ok Lord, even though I cannot comprehend the ‘why’ at this point I will humble myself and allow You free reign to bring this process to completion in order to benefit those that need my wisdom in their time of “Why me Lord?”
I can pray and pray fervently for anyone that requests prayer. I can beat the devil, claim complete healing, smack him with the Scriptures that prove God’s Word and set him a flight, and always believe without a shadow of a doubt that He has done that which I have petitioned Him for and also let the person know that He has heard their cries and prayers and will see them through each step of the process.
Many have called, written and even stopped by and spoke that very process to me. I recall, “Oh my Lord CeCe it was amazing. God took me through each step minute by minute and I even felt Him holding my hand. I was not afraid and I was totally at peace.” Because I care I try to feel hearts and also I place myself in that position and I know what I would want so that’s how I pray when I am asked to. Not glorifying myself. Never do I give glory to me its all Him.
What I have come to know, inside myself just recently is, it’s always easier to pray for those who are not in the immediate circle. However, when you face the issue that you are petitioning God for each day, every hour, minute and second it starts to wear down your faith because you see that the process of prayer and the delivery of the answer at times does not come immediately. So each day you wonder, ‘When Lord?’ “Can You show me a sign?” “Are my prayers bouncing off Heaven?” “What else do I need to do?”
You repent, you humble yourself and ask for forgiveness, you forgive and ask God to cleanse your heart and still you are not seeing the answer. I asked the Lord these exact questions regarding my daughter just recently. I watched her deteriorate, daily going down hill. Wither away ‘so to speak’. “What am I doing wrong, I asked the Father?” His response was earth shaking, “This is not your battle, I have alerted those who will fight this, He said.” At first I was devastated. I felt, I have to be in disobedience. I did the whole ‘I need salvation again’ theory and just recently I opened a message from a dear friend of mine and spoke to another and finally I got it. It was finally soooooo clear.
Intercessors and prayer warriors are there when we are at our lowest. When we have become so burdened by the sight of the weight. When we are not able to see spiritually the outcome because we are too focused on the trial to gain composure and lay ourselves on the alter and at His feet and allow Him to show us what this process is about and why we have to allow Him the reigns so nothing and no one will miss out on what He is doing.
While going through the test we at times have that mountain in sight 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This is why we are not seeing the effects of the spiritual. God has placed in position in His Kingdom those whom He has chosen to stand when we cannot, to fight when we become weak, to travail when we are at our weakest. I have come to know this, I am always diligent to fill the gap however, I’m not good at having the gap filled ‘for me’. However, I do trust those that the Lord has asked to be the hands under. I am a firm believer that what you sow you will reap and what I have come to know these past few days is that people are standing, fighting and calling my daughter’s name and also mine before the Father and He has heard their prayers.
Two weeks ago my daughter got a diagnosis that is sending her 4 weeks earlier to an oncologist/surgeon/obgyn specialist. I asked for prayer for her and since the prayer has been started I have seen MANY of the symptoms she has been experiencing disappear almost instantly. She is no longer bleeding. She is no longer vomiting. She is no longer having diarrhea. Her pain is at an all time minimum. Her energy is up and she can even eat a little without nausea. NOW THAT’S GOD! That’s the effect of the ‘fervent prayer of the righteous’. That’s the result of much prayers that were sown and stored up in the heaven for her.
I am here to say this, whenever the Lord calls you to intercede for someone, no matter if you want to or not DO IT as if your life or your family depended upon it. Pray like never before, touch heaven for that person. Speak to the devil and cause him to fear YOU. Always ask the Lord if there is more intercession needed for that person. After you have prayed continue to speak the victory, never loose sight of the Victor and always offer a hand even though the person may not believe that they have what they have petitioned God for. Trust in yourself that its theirs and always listen with your heart.
At times we are praying and interceding for those that do not believe with the power of faith as we do. This is when we have to make the intercession count as if we are the ones in that position. Jesus prayed and sweat blood the least we can do is pray and sweat too. Never take casually a prayer request. You never know when your life or the life of your family members will depend on that prayer.
I have to say a special thank you to those that have been praying for Olivia. I know God is doing a miracle and these doctors will be able to see it as well. Evangelist Chidi I praise God for your word from the Lord but also the rebuke I felt because I was allowing my fear to doubt my faith and trust in God. Thank you for caring! Sarah, thank you for the phone call and also for those precious words of wisdom. YES I will allow the intercessors to fight for us!
Do something special for someone in need today….Pray for them….Believe for them….Carry the load for a while!
Love and Hugs,
Pastor CeCe
