Writing for healing

I admit it's an odd place to be Stuck between hope and reality Each time my eyes fly open from sleeping A new light awaits to blind my eyes Lord, lead me on and into what I understand. A million determinations push me forward Onward, my heart is distant and locked away Somewhere in gentle unknowing hands I can't see His face, but I know His peace Lord, let me meet you and break this chaos in my heart. My feet are flying to take me to a place beyond survival Bound and steadfast, only fear sets itself my rival Away from these familiar faces, out of this town Every mistake I made is scratched on tongues of gossip Lord, let me not be bound by past and live only in you. Each glance in the glass is followed by mere repulsion Inexcusably deformed, wide set, and shunned by media ideals I could shatter it through with shaking hands Where would that leave this broken down temple? Unchanged. Lord, let me transcend my insecurity and perfect my faith. Lord, hear my desperation. You have lifted me from scum to your servant. Fill me, and know my struggles are all in your name. Grant me peace.

This is an incredible piece of writing! It's the most amazing feeling to be set free from the bondage of your past. John Ch. 8 Vs. 36 says "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." When you chose to turn away from your past and run to Him, you were set free in Christ! :D What I've heard of your testimony is something that can be used to touch many lives and I encourage you every day to use all opportunities that you are given to share what God did in your life and how He changed it forever!!! Matthew 5:16-In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. :) Im very honored to call you a friend. Have a blessed morning/evening, whenever you get this.
